Well made product.
The quality is very good but don't ecxpect a great increase in volume. My wife suffers with tinnitus and the first thing she said on trying it was "is that as loud as it goes?" I compared it with the direct output from the TV and it's virtually the same on full volume. I have tried several head sets but even my Wharfedale DD1s wern't exactly deafening. What a bargain and a life saver
Richer Sounds advertise this but no longer seem to stock it. Can you wonder when companies have stopped supplying a phono output in their TVs - only optical. I was puzzled as to why the volume control on my Sennheiser Headset was unresponsive. Then I saw this little gem advertised on Ebay. I should add that I am hard of hearing. I did not realise that there was an amplifier for headsets!. The result was amazing. Not only volume control, but tone control (Making speech sharper). Plus there is a choice of output to headset - quarter inch jack 0r 3.5 phono. I can now comfortably enjoy TV, DVD and radio straight from source in the bedroom (where there is no amplifier). I have an amplifier in the living room, so this device is not necessary Thoroughly recommendedRicher Sounds advertise this but no longer seem to stock it.
