    Early days yet....

    I bought this to top up the leisure battery in a campervan. I have no previous experience with solar charging but I am impressed with this Spark branded kit. It includes everything you could need and is so simple to set up. Rather than use the lead with crocodile clips, I fitted the lead with the eyelets by bolting on to the battery lugs. This will stay fitted permanently there. Then connecting the controller to this is quick and easy. Even on a cloudy day, the battery came up by 0.3v in minutes. I haven't had the chance to use it in the sun yet but I reckon it will be great. It has the added benefit of fitting on the dashboard inside the campervan. So far, so good....

    Not bad at all.

    Works very well in strong sunlight and charged pretty well flat batteries in a few hours. Not so great in overcast conditions but continued to work. Well pleased.
