Konami's vampire-hunting series begins anew with Lords of Shadow. As a descendant of the famed Belmont family, you must vanquish an assortment of dark creatures to save the world from an insidious curse. Gabriel Belmont must explore more than 50 stages, each viewed from a third-person perspective, using over 40 possible combo attacks to defeat his enemies. To progress, you'll need to swing across chasms, climb walls, rappel down cliffs, and overcome various dangers lurking within the gothic ruins, castles, forests, swamps, and tundra making up the game's Southern Europe setting.<br><br>Gabriel will rely on daggers, holy water, and a multi-functional "combat cross" to repel his supernatural foes. A retractable chain whip is housed within the cross, allowing Gabriel to swing from ledges and to attack enemies from afar. Throughout your travels, you'll solve puzzles to unlock new items, battle large-scale bosses, and harness the power of magic. Created by Spanish developer Mercury Steam under the supervision of Kojima Productions, Lords of Shadow features Hollywood-style cinematics and professional voice acting from Robert Carlyle, Patrick Stewart, Natasha McElhone, and Jason Issacs.

    I bought the Castlevania Lords of Shadow 1 and 2 set and was not disappointed. Brand new, factory sealed, original inserts and everything . Thank you over9kstores! If your a die-hard Castlevania fan looking for new copies of these games for your xbox 360 then look n further get while the getting is good. You won't find a better deal anywhere else!

    God of War Who?

    This proves that my Xbox 360 is as powerful as my PS3. I originally downloaded and planned on the PS3 version but this version is better graphically it pops it has a sparkle that neither Castlevania Lords of Shadow PS3 can touch nor can the Mighty God of War 3. This game just raised the bar. If loved God of War or even Castlevania Lament of Innocence you&apos;ll love this game. Yes I know its not your typical Castlevania. I know I am a fan of the series. But I can&apos;t put this game down the spirit of the series is here its just evolved and adapted to today. From the control, to the weapons, to the graphics and sound. This is a top nouch game that has definitely dethroned quite a few games from this generation of systems. The only flaw is there is no manual camera control but easily ...

    An Epic Experience

    There are some games that simply cannot be explained on paper. From the epic, Pan's Labyrinth-esque character and level designs to the masterfully crafted combat that fits like a glove, this game nails both fun and awe for the player. Difficult to master, the combat pushes the player to hone his skills in evasion and careful timing, eliminating the mindless "hack n slash" feel for something a little more tactical. Each combo feels worthy of a fist pump, and this game is not one to be short on adrenaline rushes or those prime moments where you set down the controller and think "That was badass". The story is a simple tale of love lost and revenge sought, and its conclusion is arguably one of the most satisfying conclusions in a video game this decade. Do not let the rush of holiday ...

    Bloody good time

    I had this game on PS3. Since PS4 is not back compatible, I got this one for 360. Now I am playing it again on my Xbox 1 X, and it looks and runs MUCH better than when it came out originally.
