👉I purchased this timer switch to replace an identical unit that was 12 years old, the old unit still worked but was due a change. These units are well made, offer a range of time settings for a single channel (they also produce a two channel version). It has a programmable date, time and several on off settings, which are protected in the event of a power failure by a CR2032 battery that should last about 10 years, though this battery can be fairly easily replaced. It also has a manual override with off, auto, extra hour and on.
