  • Your Lawn Will Die

Lemme once said that if Motorhead moved in next door, your lawn would die. This is the seminal document following the Rock and Roll album, during the second Motorhead Rennaissance (the first occurs early, at the Bomber, Overkill, Ace of Spades trilogy). At this point Motorhead was peaking and about to self-destruct, yet to reinvent themselves again. let me be completely honest here: there's really little difference between one Motorhead album and another, and if you're only going to own one, I'd probably tell you to get 1916 as the album with the most range. BUT, if you're like me, and once you find something that resonantes with loudness, grittiness, and the fine tuning of a lumbering behemoth, don't let me stand in your way: there's no such thing as a bad motorhead album.
