Product Information

Key designers of one of the most important and influential third-person 3D action games ever created offer up this adventure for the "next-generation." Former members of Core Design Toby Gard and Paul Douglas spent several years developing Galleon, which is designed to bring the same engaging playability and distinctiveness of character to the Xbox that their original Tomb Raider brought to earlier systems in the mid-1990s. Players take the role of Rhama Sabrier, a sailor, explorer, and warrior of great renown. The story-driven adventure begins when a strange vessel is uncovered near the port town of Akbah. The ship's origins and powers are a mystery to the town's wizened elder, who summons Sabrier to investigate further. Through a classic plot device at least as old as Homer, the seafaring swashbuckler must then travel to many odd and distinct islands, each offering its own unique adventure to challenge the hero.

    This Galleon was not from Spain!

    I have played some bad Xbox's games in the past and I ended up enjoying them (Azurik and Night Caster)But this one was just TERRIBLE! The controllers feel like you are trying to control a rat on drugs! You cannot control the character to make him jump, run, or to do anything. Did I mention at one point he has constant smoke coming out of his feet, so you cannot see where you are going? The game itself has a bunch of invisible walls where you get stuck manyyyyyy times, making this impossible to play without relapsing on your anger management :( Pure GARBAGE, you will be better off watching that pesky "American Idol" instead! GOOD LUCK

    I'm sure someone will enjoy it but not me

    I figured if I kept playing I'd get to the good part. Then I got stuck on a ledge jumper part, I hate those, and gave up. Fighting was fun, story quirky and funny.

    Tired of the shooters, and Monotonous arcade style games? Try a real adventure with a decent story line. You will still have time to battle but you will also be able to explore the world around and enjoy the full glory of this game.
