    Taken a weight off my mind.

    The Salter 5kg electronic kitchen scales were a fantastic buy. Easy to change from imperial measures to metric by simple press of button. What impresses me is the size of window showing really large numerals, also the simple compact metal body which will take loads offering a busy kitchen. Definitely recommend this product.

    Layout of scales could be better

    Dislike the fact when you push the buttons the whole top of the scale rocks and dips down ,the display numbers go crazy then finally zero them selves, Not very well made The two buttons should be on a firm base. The aluminium centre and the black plastic surround that the buttons are set in move together. I had more confidence in the old model Salter scales I had previously .

    Lightweight with very useful features

    Neat design, weighs directly on the platform or with own mixing bowl. The ability to switch between metric and imperial to weigh solids and well as fluids is extremely useful. Appears well made is neat in appearance and easy to store or keep on worktop.

    Great digital kitchen scale

    This Salter digital kitchen scale replaces an older version (20 years old) which had failed. The new one has many useful features - weighing solids and liquids, for example - and we're looking forward to may years service from this example.
