The turntable mat was a VERY reasonable price! Shipping was VERY fast! The only comment I would like to say is that the seller should have used a larger packing envelope to ship it in. The mat arrived folded completely in half and it left a large bend in the rubber. (See photo) That made the mat unusable for a few days until I could get it to lay flat as it should. My recommendation to the seller is to think ahead when shipping items. Otherwise, no complaints. Would purchase from again.

Excellent Turntable.
Great turntable. I've owned mine since I bought it brand new. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but a super-silent motor and does what it is supposed to do. Sometimes the older JVC turntables have a problem with the bonding agents used to secure the electronics to the circuit board. It deteriorates and cause things to not function properly. You can take it apart and remove the glue and reattach the parts with new glue or replace the electronic parts and use the new type of glue. There are videos out on how to do this. My speed control was acting funny, so I opened it up and sprayed it with tuner cleaner. Works fine. The tone arm lift just basically keeps the tone arm at the same height as the tone arm rest. You use it to start the record safely and protect the stylus. Overall ... Great turntable. I've owned mine since I bought it brand new. JVC built some of the best DD turntables around, the motors are solid, and other Japanese manufacturers used them in their tables. This JVC despite it's age was better than the newer AT-LP120USB it replaced. All in all a great way to get into vinyl as a newbie or even intermediate enthusiast. It looks and plays great. This was a lower-end direct-drive table from the late '70s, but the fact that it still performs perfectly 40 years later and provides endless joy in listening begs the question: what does lower-end mean? Try getting this out of your $1000 iPhone 40 years from now! Caveats: not recommended for buyers who are not handy or prepared to open it up and tinker with malfunctioning parts.
