    Good for the money.

    Easy to handle, lightweight. Takes 10 secs or so each time you want power steam but does the job well. May not be so good if you had large loads to iron, but great for small households.Main drawback appears to be that the scale filter cartridge cannot be cleaned and needs to be regularly replaced at a cost of £10-11.

    I got the iron with soaking box that i have 2 leave iron 2 dry when i use the iron it was smelling of cooking oil. 2nd time iv used it mind u their were not water left inside for unattended it it spattered black dots all over my clothes. V angry can i have my money bak pls

    A smashing steam iron perfect for someone with arthritis.

    Now that we received a replacement following a fault with the first one the iron is wonderful. So simple to use especially as I am disabled and suffer with arthritis in both of my hands. So nice and easy to use and very light in weight.

    Russell Hobbs 24420 Steam Generator Iron

    Replaced an ageing Steam Generator Iron and this Russell Hobbs 24420 is equally as good, in fact better in that it is lighter, more compact, quicker to warm up and generated more steam. Conventional ironing(without) steam is also very good. Excellent value for money and Highly recommended

    Great iron, very easy to use. The iron produces sufficient steam for the job and doesn't steam up the whole work area (like my other iron used to do). It is lightweight (and as I have shoulder trouble) it really makes my ironing sessions easier and a pleasure. Added to that, it has a stainless steel soleplate which I prefer. Everyone should have one of these - can I say 'RECOMMENDED BY ME'
