Just what I wanted!
After many years of faithful service the rubber sleeve on my Shubb capo finally perished. Hobgoblin came to the rescue and supplied a genuine replacement sleeve which fits perfectly at a fraction of the price of a new capo. 100% satisfied.

Suspect Shubb quality assurance
One of my two replacement Shubb rubbers split as I was fitting it to my brass Shubb capo which has a square cross section. However, after contacting Hobgoblin Music, they sent me a replacement free of charge.

Good quality replacement part.
Fits perfectly on to my Shubb capo which I have owned since the mid 90's. To fit the rubber sleeve, I removed the original version and then cleaned up the exposed area. To fit the rubber sleeve I dropped a couple of drops of sunflower oil inside. The sleeve slid on with no trouble at all. Works perfectly on the guitar.

What a great bit of rubber sleeve.
I thoroughly recommend this bit of rubber sleeve as a replacement for the previous rubber sleeve that was there before and which was also made for the same capo. It is wonderfully rubbery, it occupies the same space as the previous bit of rubber which had the same dimensions, pushing on the strings and holding them against the frets. Get this bit of rubber sleeve if the old bit of rubber sleeve has worn out on your Shubb capo.I thoroughly recommend this bit of rubber sleeve as a replacement for the previous rubber sleeve that was there before and which was also made for the same capo.
