I bought this Game for my 3 year old Daughter, it is alittle on the hard side for her because there is alot of reading. She does like the mini games , but the mini games are only unlocked one by one after you beat parts of the game. I had to play ( and complete ) the game to unlock the mini games so she could play them. The whole game you play as Pinkie pie and walk around and find gifts, And as you find the gifts you unlock the mini games. Finding the gifts to me was very boring but the mini games are cute, I think this game would be best for a child 4 to 6.
Managed to finally track this down on ebay-not readily available in the UK. Bought for 5 y.o for her birthday. She is pony crazy (mummy pretty keen too..) So far, seems quite easy to play. Little bit of reading at first, but easy enough for her to pick up what to do, how to use controls, etc. Aimed at younger DS players-no scary monsters or difficult game play! Pretty, entertaining game to keep your girls quiet on car journey, boring waits at dentist, etc, but not really for anyone over the age of 7 or 8? (Looking forward to having a quick play when she goes to school-heehee!)
The game has great graphics,my 9 year old loves it
