The trio of titans returns with some fiendish friends in this update to Midway's city crushing coin-op series. Rampage: Total Destruction once again features super-sized gorilla George, luscious lizard Lizzy, and werewolf Ralph as they smash buildings, dine on tourists, and battle the armed forces while razing and wrecking seven bustling cities around the world. Damage to the surrounding area will gradually increase each monster's rage meter, allowing them to perform super moves while fully enraged. Multiple power-ups that range from strength enhancements to damage multipliers are lurking throughout the 3D cities, as are 25 hidden monsters to unlock for both solo and multiplayer action. Featured creatures include a shark, squid, rat, crocodile, lion, and more as players engage in cooperative matches or competitive battles with up to three other friends. The game also includes the arcade versions of Rampage and its 1997 follow-up, Rampage World Tour, as a bonus.

On August 2005 Midway announces a new Rampage game for Nintendo Gamecube. The dream coming true. From that moment on I started to believe in miracles!! I started to play my all times favourite game “RAMPAGE” (The unique legendary first arcade 1986) on Commodore 64 version (1987), then “World Tour” and “Universal Tour" for N64; til “Through Time” for PSX. This brand new “RAMPAGE: TOTAL DESTRUCTION” is all that a Rampage fan can desire! You can do everything you want!!! Thanks to 3D environment this new Rampage chapter has a gameplay that leaves me with no words… now the buildings are hard with an incredible realism!! To destroy ... THANK YOU MIDWAY ! The GC pad rumbles when buildings start to collapse! You can choose to play in day or night background! There are some bonus missions in each level (for example, eat 10 business men) to obtain the special powers! It seems to be a stop motion movie! The hard rock soundtrack is perfect !! The CG presentation is spectacular!! Rampage Total Destruction is totally compatible with Freeloader 1.06b (I’m Italian) and is multilanguage!!! Oh Yes!! There are many many other things I do not unveil you ;-) In 2006 is rare to see a game like this! I always thinked that the most important thing in a videogames is the FUN and Rampage is the prove that the REAL videogames is still alive! If you love the real videogames you gonna play Rampage. I adore the Rampage filosophy !!! Destroy ALL on the screen! AMAZING!!! The true Rampage fans will love this Total Destruction and the mass people will discover a Game that made the history of videogames!! Rampage Total Destruction
I've played this game before from the arcade like style and this game's graphics sure has come a long way. Now that it's in 3D version it looks better then before. And now there's even more characters that you can unlock, the older version only had 3 characters to choose from, but seeing that there's several more makes it more of a variety. This game is all about destroying everything in site and trying to get bonus points.
