A good purchase
Nicely cared for and a good model of the original. My general collection is era 4 but I did my earliest trainspotting on the GWR in the last days of pre-Nationalisation so have acquired a small stable of era 3. A slightly noisy runner but performs adequately both forward and reverse and pulls well. The loosely-attached tender coupling needed a little work but is now (hopefully) reliably secure. The 43xx has always been a favourite and I’m pleased with this example.Nicely cared for and a good model of the original. Damaged
Loco arrived on time and was packaged well in original box but damage was evident when it ran irratically along the track, a bent axle/wheel meant that it wiggled and rocked from side to side in a very pronounced manner. A well used model of some age. Disappointing.
