I fully wished I could of seen it too
I have seen this movie before, thats why I bought it. However being from the USA and the seller, DVD being from the UK I was unaware it would not work here in this country on my DVD player. I don't know if the seller did eiter. So my lession I wish to share with the readers is not one of bitter grapes but one of becareful of what your buying. Know when you buy a tape or DVD from another country. That there set-ups are going to work the same in your country. I have learned that and will now resell four DVDS back to the UKI have seen this movie before, thats why I bought it. Great film.funny as hell.Laugh your socks off.
I bought this dvd because it is one of the funniest films that I have ever seen.I have seen it twice on tv and both times found it side splittly funny.Set in a coal mining town during the miners strikes when the"wicked witch of the north" (Maggy Thatcher) decided to break the unions.The only think that I don't like is all the swearing,but it wouldn't be the same without it,true to life I suppose.I bought this dvd because it is one of the funniest films that I have ever seen.I have seen it twice on tv and both times found it side splittly funny.Set in a coal mining town during the miners strikes when the"wicked witch of the north" (Maggy Thatcher) decided to break the unions.The only think that I don't like is all the swearing,but it wouldn't be the same without it,true to life I suppose.
