      Somewhat heavy

      Appears well built and should last for a long time. Downside is it is heavier than what some other similar sized ones weigh. Hardware looks well designed. Bottom line is it isn't small, but if you have the space to carry it, a good value.

      leg quik release broke.

      did not have a quick realize for the camera. the bottom leg quick release broke the second time I used it, Colorado had freezing weather and that may have caused the quick releasee to break, any way the monopod is not useful now, not heavy duty!

      Does the job at a good price

      I won't go so far as saying I love this monopod, but it does serve the purpose for which it is designed. I purchased it knowing I would not use it too much but wanting to have a monopod in my bag (or strapped to it, more accurately) in case I need it. For those times that I have used it, it does the job without any issues, at least for me. I like the three adjustment clips on the leg, allowing for various needed height selections. The metal tip on the bottom is nice, especially for terrain that allows full usage of its purpose. The foam grip is also a plus. Overall, and especially for the cash outlay that I made, this monopod does the job, limited though it may be for my needs.

      a good value

      lightweight, easy to carry, securely holds attachments, and stable to use. a DSLR with a huge lens will require other support but this is excellent for most purposes.
