Trower/Bruce
Lets face it, Trower is one of the better rock guitarists around, and, Jack Bruce is the best Bassist in the biz ( McCartney is second ). They are both decent songwriters. So, you would think that this combo would be a sure-fire hit. Yes and No It's a mediocre cd. The musicianship is excellent. The songwriting runs hot and cold. I like 60% of the songs, however, when you consider the enormous talent of these two guys, I expected a better outcome. I wouldn't pay full price for it, but at a cheap price on Ebay, it's worth bidding for. Awesome Quality !
This is actually my second purchase of this CD, because it is in such demand by the music lovers who both remember and appreciate QUALITY. You might feel tempted to purchase the DVD concert of this. I enjoyed that also, and be forwarned - you will sorely miss that 2'nd guitar part, also played by Robin Trower in the studio release cd of Seven Moons.
