Dario Argento is a rare talent. How can a young man making his directorial debut make a movie this good? I actually think this is one of Argento's best movies and better than his follow-up movie Cat o' Nine Tails. This is a classic Giallo film and I have to admit I did not figure out who the killer was even though the hints were there all along. Not as violent and gruesome as some of Argento's later films, but just as engaging. The transfer to high definition is fantastic as are all of the Arrow releases. I would love to see what this looks like in 4k. If you like murder mysteries as much as I do, this one is interesting from beginning to end.
