A Classic
A true classic of Burton and Le Carre. B/W which might not suit all modern viewers, but which adds to brooding and oppressive nature of the subject matter, and the Intelligence and Security Services, whose members actually engaged in these activities. The Cold War at its hottest with betrayals and twists, reflecting some of the truth as to what went on behind the scenes. The Great Game being played out in the harsh reality that existed and is still extant today. Well worth watching by any with an interest in those times, espionage and fans of Le Carre and/or Richard Burton. A true classic of Burton and Le Carre.
