I have owned three different brand TV Digital Converters since 2008 and the ZENITH ATT901 is the easiest and most pleasurable unit to use! One different brand took 5-20 seconds or more each time I pressed the remote to change channels, information, or program, or etc., etc... Many, many Various other remote buttons! -- Literally horrible, horrible an experience to use! This is my third Zenith ATT901 unit as the first two wore out (internal electronics get old over time) during the course of time used from 2008 to 2020 and 2021. Twelve (12) and thirteen (13) years of easy to use, easy to read, well-efficient functioning, programming, and scanning is fine with me to pay $30 per unit! That's why it is a decent value for what the ZENITH ATT901 does! Enough said!

This is my 3rd DTT901 Zenith. I got my first 2 years ago. I bought this one for a 3rd TV. I was lucky to find this brand new item from this merchant at a reasonable price. It works great!

This is my third DTV converter and definitely my favorite so far. It has an excellent user interface, much more like a TV than other converters, which have been short on features and rather quirky to work with. The channel browser is very good. I gave it only four stars because the tuner is no more sensitive than other converter box tuners, which typically fall short of what the tuners in my HDTVs are capable of.

This is a (new) 12-13 year old product. I had the exact same make/model ca. 2010. It quit on me after 11+ trouble-free years. Since then I've had two ($50+) big-box store converters and both died within a year. I believed that nobody made quality digital TV converter boxes anymore (maybe I'm right). My old-new Zenith saved the day and my excellent analog television never "looked" better.

This is the best digital TV tuner for fringe area reception. It may be older and without bells and whistles, but it will lock on to a distant signal and hold it when the new tuners will not. I have several of the newer tuners, the Ematic and Koqit, and they are okay, but for locking on channels that I am not suppose to be able to receive the Zenith DTT901 is the best. It was actually produced by LG. I like them so much that I own four of them. It is also better than any channel tuner built in to a TV. I also use the stand alone digital TV tuner, along with a FTA satellite tuner, an a streaming box through my Yamaha AV receiver, you can't beat it, it's like being there.

Free Air TV. I have a Zenith 27" analog t.v. that's over 25 years old and still works just great. It's in a bedroom used when we have guest. I sent back a Dish Joey to reduce my monthly bills, 5 t.v's., the converter with a amplifier and rabbit ears antenna bring in 5 channels. A better antenna put higher will bring in more channels. A project for somewhere down the road.

If you have an older TV or video recorder without a digital tuner, don't chuck the unit but add the converter box to pass along the digital signal to the unit. There are still many models available, and others wear out with age. The Zenith DTT901 is sturdy and holds its settings. It has an automatic off setting, but since I use mine to record programs to a DVD recorder, I keep mine on with no degradation in quality or loss of settings. The remote control is a near necessity to easily operate and program the converter box. The only shortcoming I've found is that closed captioning becomes jumbled with variation in reception quality; just turn the box off and back on weekly.

This Zenith DTV tuner is a great value. If you have a tv that requires a tuner, this offers good reception , with a good indoor or outdoor antenna. I also like the EZ add feature, which allows you to rescan very easily. As with most Zenith products, great quality always.

Zenith is the best converter box in their price range. It replaces a new Media One and scans in many more channels. Highly recommend this brand.

I've had it for a few weeks now. I wanted something that converted the signals and based on other reviews this one seemed more reliable than some of the newer models with DVRs built in. Setup was a breeze, it has a guide that walks you right through it. It doesn't have a lot of frills but I have had no issues so far. I've found I'm actually quite happy with the guide even though it only lists the current and next programs. In case anyone is wondering the remote is not universal. It allows you to turn your TV on and off the other buttons are all for the box. Overall it works for my needs and I'm satisfied.
