Well made product and it does what it says on the tin.. Excellent
It arrived on time. Easy to install. Easy to follow instructions. It can be controlled manually or using the Smart phone, via Alexa I believe as well although I did not try this part it it. It looks good on the wall with a nice big display of Temperatures etc. It controls my new Worcester Boach boiler beautifully and build to lastest standard requirvments "Gas Plus".... It requires 5 core cable for the boiler end "link unit, and only 2 core at the main display unit on the wall... The old Thermostat 2 core cable will do the job. I recommend it. It arrived on time. All good but why not a version for wired ethernet?
Wiring up is easy for even a DIY electrician. Instructions and manual I found clear. Hardest bit was pairing my phone to the initial set-up. Android phone just refused to connect. After a little Googling found tah turning off mobile data would help and it did...and connected. After that no problems hooking into home wifi - just make sure you have optimised your wifi channels as I found my neighbours new high power BT / Sky / Virgin hubs swamping my house Had a couple of connections lost with Honeywell servers - their issue not mine. In that case it loses 'smart' functions such as geofencing but the programmable bits still work.# Seems to fire the boiler less often and we certainly have fewer temp swings in the house WOULD LIKE A WIRED ETHERNET VERSION PLEASE HONEYWELL!Wiring up is easy for even a DIY electrician.
