I brought this HTC because the smart phone I had only had a small screen. This Desire HD was the most reasonable priced with a large screen. It has worked well since but I did purchase a gold battery to extend the battery life. Its now quite good. The only thing I find difficult is the on off switch, its OK but sometimes I find it difficult. I would get another though, as I think at the price its good value. I have found this unit good I take it to the hills sometimes and use the sat nav. Together with a map.I brought this HTC because the smart phone I had only had a small screen. Great size screen, but eats the battery alive. The phone is an exceelant roduct but HTC need to sort out there battery issues. For some reason they put a battery that isnt good enough for the user of this phone to use the phone for media activites. I have to plug mine in every day with out excuse. I know this is a powerful mobile but the battery should be adequate at least a day of heavy use. After all the reason i bought this phone was to use it for alot of media, but sadley dispointed that the battery wasnt up to scratch. Its not just the HTC Desire HD has the issues with the bttery. the same problem runs through all the lines HTC sell.Great size screen, but eats the battery alive. Excellent phone recommended purchase

Awsome but not so good with battery life
the phone is good fast easy to use but it battery life downgrades the phones performance because it is small and finishes in 5 hours of use.
