I have rigged up some of my rolling stock with a magnetic decoupler, for ease of loco swapping. I only needed hooks on the stock for this operation, but not the locos. so I bought these items, and carefully unclipped their hooks, then retro- fitted the bump bars, (minus hooks), to my locos (Old existing triang/Hornby couplers had rivetted hooks, which were not easily separated from their bump bars. These now look smaller, dead neat, and form a perfect connection / de-connection to my rolling stock couplings. Everything works now.

Does the job of updating old Hornby metal couplings to the latest Bachmann standard. These are the short variety that couple stock in a more prototypical spacing, so beware of tight radius curves or you may get buffer locking.

These are so useful for upgrading locos and stock with older, larger screw on tension lock couplings. Easy to fit and use. Recommended.

These couplings are/were being used as replacement for the older large couplings on some of my locos. Having said that I had to enlarge very slightly the locating holes on each end of the couplings to fit on my locos.

The product is as expected and best used only with rolling stock fitted with similar coupling. I wished to use them on some kit built coaches and as these are run as a fixed rake only those coaches at each end will have to have their couplings modified.
