Triple Zero was a really good book. I expected it to be alot like Hard Contact, but boy was I wrong. In triple zero, the commandos leave their normal battlefield behind, to fight a different kind of battle. This is one of those books that is a little slow going, but you need to read because of it's importance to the series. Overall, I thought it was a nice read!
My teen boys love Star Wars, and both read above their age level, so I often check out adult books forthem. This book, and the others in this series, are well written, interesting, and very enjoyable, even for a mom! I like the personal interaction and realtionships developed, and also that there is nothing explicit, and the only cuss words are Madolorian!
The book was a big disappointment I was expecting more action, like the previous book instead it was all about stakeouts and waiting, the only good thing about the book was it introduced Clone Arc Capt. ORDO (which is derived from the Latin word meaning order). I was expecting Capt. Fordo instead who was more visible in the clone wars. If you are a die hard starwars fan, you can live w/ this book but if you are new to the Starwars universe. Dont start w/ this book you will be very lost.
Wonderful read and wonderful condition

I purchased this book for my 9 year old son. He has been a fan of the Clones for a long time. I was impressed to see him sitting and reading the book during his free time, even though it is a novel. He has also taken every opportunity to tell me about what he is reading.
I ordered the book for my younger brother, who has just recently become fascinated with this entire series. He loved it. Thanks!
Star Wars Republic Commando: Triple Zero is the second book in Karen Traviss' Republic Commando series. Triple Zero is a very good book as it introduces a number of characters. First of all you get to continue to learn about Omega Squad & Etain. However a number of important characters are introduced. All of Delta Squad, Kal, General Jusik, Vau, Nul ARC's Ordo & Mereel. The plot is totally different then Hard Contact. This book is all about the different squad's urban warfare skills as they go undercover and "off the books" to go after terrorists on Coruscant! The book has a number of important story points for the entire series. The development of the Clone Commando's and Null ARC's as people as they experience "normal" life on Coruscant is great. You also get to see Sargent Kal's plans for his soldiers that will go out through further stories. Personally I found this an interesting read. It was a bit slower then the first book but it kept my attention! :) 5/5 Latsyrhc Tamarack CollectiblesRead full review
