    Helpful resource

    I have studied Spurgeon for many years. You cannot go wrong with any of his books. His books and sermons are so solid biblically. I learn so much from his resources.

    Good but not the actual sermons word for word sermons like I expected.

    The book is good but I was expecting longer chapters/sermons. It's almost like it was his notes. The sermons are only 2-3 pages long. When I listen to sermons by him on line, the sermons are 50 minutes long so was a little disappointed to not have it word for word like his sermons.

    Excellent mini commentary

    Excellent mini commentary by a very good writer. I highly recommend it for the contents. It is not a whole Bible commentary. Spurgeon selects certain portions from each book of the Bible with his thoughts on it.
