    Valve FM radio

    I bought this for a valve/tube FM Radio as my local stations are slowly reducing power to persuade me to go digital This works far better than my loft aerial and I have to turn the gain down a bit on some stations. I do use a 75 to 300 ohm converter. All in all a superb product for my application. Alan Stormont

    Not really impressed. Although supposedly for TV and DAB/FM, it only comes with Coax connector so had to buy converter for F-Type DAB radio. Provided only marginal gains - on one DAB radio it provides useful gain, on the other, signal barely locks in. This may be down to very poor signal levels, but portable DAB radio with small extending antenna seems to cope OK in either location. Internal power unit with fixed mains lead and moulded on plug made threading cables past obstructions difficult.
