Not quite what I wanted, but, I made the best of it ...
They say it cannot be used with the two pin design, but, if you separate the black plastic base from the silver and remove the grommets than hold the original 2 pin emblem on, a little RTV on the pins will hold it on. This is better done when they deliver the emblem with the stick-on unattached as the 2 pin design often aligns the two pins directly with the top point of the star and the clip in types offset the pins a little to one side of the emblem. I put this on my CL55 and it fits properly. I can't say I am perfectly happy with the appearance as it looks a little cheap ... but, then the original Mercedes plastic looked cheap too. Be careful when using the pictures to imagine the appearance on the car. My auction showed pictures that were taken in such a light to make the silver of the badge have a gold tinge to it. This enhanced the look of quality in the picture, but, the delivered badge was bright silver. The description in the eBay add said silver and black and said nothing about any gold anywhere ... so, read carefully before buying.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Leaves a gap between emblem and hood. Looks horrible.
The hood emblem does not sit snug on the hood of your car it has a gap and looks like garbage . Spend the extra money and get one from the dealership. If you want to waste some money on a useless hunk of plastic to set In a drawer and never look at again then this is the product for you. Great quality but doesn't fit. Loss of money.
The finish on it is great. Made out of metal it's the best one hands down in design. The only thing is even though it says it fits my 2017 AMG c43 coupe. Unfortunately it does not. The bonnet has a bend and it doesn't curve with it and the sides are a little to thick for it to be placed in the hole. Doesn't allow the spring to clip in either cause of thickness. I'll have to modify hoping for it to work. For $63 it should have fit flawlessly.

looks good but could be better base.
The aluminum badge itself is of great quality and color, but the base is a little on the cheap side. I got two for me and a friends cars S550, and one was perfect and snapped in, the second would not work. I had to get a replacement sent to me. looks good now!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Overall.
It is great product, it seems to be made out of plastic. Pros, it won’t fly out like the last one I purchased. The other one was the exact same except that it was made of metal. The metal one flew off and hit my windshield and could of hit someone or damage another car. This particular badges which are after market all seem to not fit as good as the original oem parts. Overall not as good as the metal one but at least it won’t fly off and damaged someone or another car as they are very light.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wrong fit
Emblem looked good in the package and out, however the attachment method was completely wrong. It should be more clear it will NOT work on the 2 pin type emblems. Waste of $20
I actually had to increase my bid offer to buy this piece of junk. The product is ABS plastic and is listed as aluminum. The mounting tabs are off-center so if you end up installing it (which I didn't) it would be crooked. I threw mine out. Looks great installed but had to be modified to fit.
Though it looks great installed, I had to do a good deal of trimming the plastic locking device to get it through the hood opening. My car is a 2009 S550 W221 but the new front badge will not fit through the opening without the use of a knife and sand paper.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
