    Last Of the Silver Quarters

    This is a proof strike of the final all silver Washington quarters. This was the final year in which silver was routinely used in all U.S. coinage. As such, it could be regarded as "the last of the run". Silver proof sets were made subsequent to that, but they were special edition for collectors only. If you collect Washington quarters, this is one you'll want to own.
