SynopsisThe moving, funny, and insightful story of all the families Carroll O'Connor has been able to call his own, "I Think I'm Outta Here" recounts the actor's early childhood in New York, his wartime experiences, his college years in Dublin, and his rise to stardom. Also, for the first time, O'Connor talks candidly about his only son's cocaine addiction and death.
The book started with Carroll's life leading up to his famous role but gave very little content towards his most famous tv shows. They seemed to be skipped over and the last few chapters were pages from his diary before his son died. Okay start but ended in a tailspin. Hard to finish instead of hard to put down.
Enjoy the book wish he tell about how he felt about his son wedding and the birth of his grandson. Wish tell us about how Hugh felt about getting married and the birth of his son and more about what went on the day before Hugh suicide.
