    Joyland by Stephen King.

    An excellent tale of unrequitted love,growing up and a spooky little side story. Very easy to read,it rolls along in Kings own style. Superb. King is not the Master of Horror,he is a Master of His Craft. At times joyful,at times heartbreaking. A truly wonderful story.

    Try it. You'll like it.

    Mr King, by and large, can do no wrong. Those that like his work will not be disappointed. Those that don't may be pleasantly surprised. The plot rocks along quite gently, and unwinds to a nuanced and satisfactory denoument. All loose ends neatly wrapped. Which is how I like it.
