Is the "real thing" truly better than a compatible?
Although I'm opting to try using 'genuine' HP toner cartridges in my new HP Colour laser, these cartidges seem to be the real ting since they're sealed in their protective airbags. I'm used to using an elderly HP laser printer with an enormous Black toner cartridge - so we'll have to see just how long the 'trial'size cartridges supplied with the printer actually last before we get around to this particular toner cartridge but I am at least hopeful that sticking with the real thing as opposed to the compatibles available will offer me some protection and longevity of the new printer.
