The saw arrived in 1 day. That’s so great! The saw is just the right size for my projects and with the sliding feature it gives me the choice to cut wider pieces of wood as opposed to the other saw I have which is also a 7 1/4” miter saw. This thing is a Cadillac in comparison. The price I paid was great and it included the battery and charger! What a deal! I’ve been looking and I’m glad I took advantage of this one! Well worth the price, ideal for small jobs.
As a contractor I have a lot of tools and am not afraid to spend the money on stuff I need to make my life easier. This portable miter saw is ideal for a lot of the small trim jobs I do inside houses but have also used it on jobs replacing a few deckboards here and there as well as outside trim on houses. It is good for taking up onto scaffolding where I can cut wood for rooflines and window frames without having to come up and down to do the cuts. Granted these cutting jobs tend to be for 3/4 inch thick cuts and up to 1 1/4 thick cuts, and this is where this saw is at its best. It will with no problem cut 2 inch thick boards and I have used it to do that a few times but I tend to use my corded 12inch miter saw for more heavy duty work. So for small jobs and jobs where you just want to take this little saw with you and not a big one on a huge stand, it is great. Saves me a lot of time and a lot of hassle.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ok so I am writing this review after using this saw. First of all it’s well constructed design. It’s light weight, strong and portable. I had that in mind that it would not be powerful as 240v but it is as powerful as 240v one. So overall it’s great saw for joinery work.
