    Great book!

    Interesting biography about two famous men, and one not so famous man who died at the Alamo. Tells how they grew up and what they did before the battle. I'm only about one third thru the book (it's a thick book). It goes into details about their lives etc., that can make you want to jump ahead to the exciting stuff you know? If you've never read about Bowie, Crockett and Travis before, this book will be an eye opener for sure. I highly, highly recommend it. Bowie and Crockett were my heroes when I was growing up in the 50's and 60's. Travis I only knew about from the Alamo. But he too is now a man I'm glad I've learned, and am learning more about. Again, this book I highly recommend reading.
