an interesting game that I even enjoy
The maker wanted to create a game that wasn’t fun. It should feel agonizing, etc. But somehow it doesn't have the effect on me. I personally enjoy it. To be part of this apocalyptic society and simply as a messenger to bring people their deliveries. You feel useful in the game. The people who are supplied are happy when you bring them your delivery. Connecting them to the network enables them to be in contact with others. I think the concept is great. If you want to be a post apocalyptic delivery boy then this is for you! 5 Hours in and it's repetitive and boring. Weird and potentially wonderful.
Well it's certainly a Hideo Kojima game. You walk around for hours making deliveries in a grim but beautiful world, meanwhile a genuinely crazy yet compelling story goes on in the background. Probably too long, too much walking, the story takes itself too seriously... but you won't get an experience like it from any other game, or anything else really. Amazing, Sunk +100hrs easily
One of the best games I've played in recent years. It tries alot of new things and you can really see Kojima wanted to push the boat out. Loved the story, relaxing yet also stressful at times gameplay, ever changing world is amazing, soundtrack is perfect. Really different, surreal enjoyable game
I've never seen a game like this, set in a post apocalyptic world where you play the part of Sam porter bridges (daryl from walking dead) the graphics are awesome, you cover alot of ground on foot, delivering packages, doing tasks, avoiding the new darkness hiding within the new realms.
