    Good monitor - no schedule functions

    So, installation was pretty straight forward. Communication setup with my wifi was not too bad. My android phone is able to open and close the door and I receive push notifications when it opens or closes. THE BIG PROBLEM is that the schedule feature, like closing the door automatically after xxxx time is not working. When I try to set a schedule, I just receive the message "Save Schedule Failed". Many people have complained about this issue and apparently the company is dragging their feet on making this feature work. It would really be nice to have this!!!!!. All that being said, I am still glad to know if it is open or closed when away from home and would probably still buy this system. I probably should have done a little more shopping before buying.

    Great concept, but...

    It installed and worked fine for one cellphone, but only one. Biggest problem was that the garage door would close unexpectedly after an hour or so with the unit connected. I will plug it in only when I need it, I use it in conjunction with a "Garage Butler", so no worries about it opening the garage door unexpectedly. I would not trust using this device on its own. Construction of the device is a small plastic box with what looks like an arduino or similar cpu inside. $40 was overpriced for what it is.

    I love it and works with Xfinity Home Security App

    As a new home owner and I have a garage which I park my bike in it. I purchase a Chamberlain Universal remote that I previous used but, I want something more mobile and I found out about the my-Q on my Xfinity home security that it is compatible. I was able to get this one on eBay. I had to call tech support because the was used and still on the previous owner's account. The tech support guy was helpful and I was able to set it up. I will definitely recommend this device.

    Peace of mind and worth every penny!!

    I first bought the Craftsman wifi connect system but found out it only works on 4 models and mine wasn't one of them. This works with all the rest including many other brands of garage door openers. We found it funny that you have to name the device and settled on the name Bart. So this is a wonderful way ti check on your Bart when away or anytime you like. Get one and you'll never have to wonder if you closed the door again. Its also super easy to set up. Might have took 20 mins including mounting the receiver above the lift and sticking the sensor on the door.

    Works fine after solving connectivity issue

    Very easy set up as provided in instructions. Because I was using with an other than Chamberlain garage door opener, I did encounter some technical issues, i.e. could open the door from my smart devices (iPhone and iPad) but the door would not respond to the close command. Tech support was diligent and contacted me with the suggestion to move the MyQ hub that much further away from the garage door opener. That worked! They followed up to make sure everything was in proper working order. So far so good. Tremendous peace of mind knowing my garage door is closed after I leave the house and being able to control it from afar.
