    The Kenwood TR-9000 arrived very well packaged with every item wrapped in protective bubble wrap in a sturdy box. The transceiver TX and RX on all modes. The audio is excellent . The condition was as promised. It is a 40 year old radio and it had normal wear, however it is better than expected. I would definitely order from them again !

    WORKS WITH MOST KENWOODS IF YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

    I bought this for less than half the cost of the YK-88A-1 (filter mounted on a board) because I modified my existing "AM Bypass Board" in my TS-930S to work with it. If you look at your bypass board, you'll see that the holes are already pre-drilled for the solder-on YK-88A. You just need to re-route a couple foil traces. My w3afc web page will have the full procedure on it soon. Does it work? Yes, big time. It really made the AM sharp on my TS-930S. I like to listen to foreign radio broadcasts when the HAM activity is low, and this is a big help. And I didn't pay two to three times as much for the convenience of a plug-in board filter. I'm glad I bought this!
