They confirmed they were all metal. However once received they are the plastic and metal. Emailed selller and they have given part refund so happy with not having to return. Quick communication so would buy from again.

Unfortunately, when the items arrived there was a shortage of of some of the spikes (self assembly) so I notified beauty-direct by email along with photo evidence of missing parts. They very promptly dealt with the situation and sent me a further pack of spikes and bases free of charge. Excellent service
