    "Ms Fisher" Tackles the Sixties With Style

    Great series, fun mysteries. For anyone who enjoyed "Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries, you'll love seeing " Ms Fisher's Modern Murder Mysteries " as Phryne Fisher's niece Perigrine solves mysteries in 1960s Australia. Aided by the member of the Adventuress Club and police detective James Steed, plucky Perigrine cracks each case with style. Witty, engaging and absorbing, this delightful series only ran for two seasons on Acorn TV. It's a shame that it didn't run on PBS. It probably would've run longer if it had. The original series built up its American audience on PBS, and I believe that "Ms Fisher" would've done so as well. Still, the show is terrific!
