Synopsis
They say there are only two things you can count on ... But that was before DEATH started pondering the existential. Of course, the last thing anyone needs is a squeamish Grim Reaper and soon his Discworld bosses have sent him off with best wishes and a well-earned gold watch. Now DEATH is having the time of his life, finding greener pastures where he can put his scythe to a whole new use. But like every cutback in an important public service, DEATH's demise soon leads to chaos and unrest -- literally, for those whose time was supposed to be up, like Windle Poons. The oldest geezer in the entire faculty of Unseen University -- home of magic, wizardry, and big dinners -- Windle was looking forward to a wonderful afterlife, not this boring been-there-done-that routine. To get the fresh start he deserves, Windle and the rest of Ankh-Morpork's undead and underemployed set off to find DEATH and save the world for the living (and everybody else, of course)., Death is missing - presumed...er...gone. Which leads to the kind of chaos you always get when an important public service is withdrawn. Ghosts and poltergeists fill up the Discworld. Dead Rights activist Reg Shoe suddenly has more work than he had ever dreamed of. And the newly deceased wizard, Windle Poons, wakes up in his coffin to find that he has come back as a corpse. But it's up to Windle and the other members of Ankh-Mork's rather unfrightening group of undead to save the world for the living. Meanwhile, on a little farm, far away, a tall, dark stranger is turning out to be pretty good with a scythe...

- a***a (772)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseItem new as listed. Shipped in an envelope with some padding, although not enough to truly protect it. Somehow, it arrived in great shape. Great price though.
- n***p (6906)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseSuper fast shipping! Great packaging!! Excellent description as well! Great seller!!!
- m***e (19)- Feedback left by buyer.Past 6 monthsVerified purchaseThe seller listed a trilogy of books confirmed both by the ISBN provided and listing it as a pack as well as the weight etc of the trilogy. The seller sent me one single book and then offered me to buy the rest of the books. I paid ~$16 the books brand new for the trilogy is $23. To tell me they have the other books and suggest I pay extra is beyond insulting especially as that would surpass the brand new box set cost. The fact that they have the other 2 and wont send them is just outrageous.
