    A Classic!

    I had read this years ago when I was a new Christain. Recently had an interesting conversation with a good friend and this came up. I ordered a set for her and this for myself. It beats Narnia in the sci-fi category. A man named Ransom is kidnapped and taken to another planet (Venus) where he meets several gentle non-human races and an Eve who has not fallen from grace. In returning to earth, he ponders the idea that God's grace and mercy is available to all sentient beings. He is again taken to another planet (Mars), further working out his destiny and belief system. A trilogy to mull over. . . and over. Not an easy read but rewarding!

    Spooky, weird, wonderful trilogy that's a must-read for lovers of fantasy.

    This would be one of my top ten lifetime books. This trilogy is eerie, tear-jerkingly beautiful, haunting, and far-sighted. C.S. Lewis is a master of both fiction and nonfiction...I'll take this trilogy plus Lewis' Narnia Chronicles, LOTR, Shakespeare, and a Bible to my desert island and feast for the remainder of my born days!
