    Genuine Quality Barrel Lock

    Good value genuine barrel lock in original packaging with paperwork and spare keys. Fits just as it should unlike some of the cheaper copies that tend to be loose in the hitch and don't lock the handle right.

    Good idea if I could trust it

    Lock operated as expected and fitted correctly into housing ( yes it is a genuine Bradley trailer hitch) but key would not rotate fully to the locked key removal position. I was aware that the key must be pushed in as it is rotated (something Bradley's do not mention in their instructions) and as the instructions advised I did rotate the cylinder back and forth slightly to enable the locking pin to extend but all to no avail. The action of the locking pin was very notchy and I had visions of me being unable to remove the pin so reluctantly I must say that I would never trust it now even if I got it to work. RHB

    Good Quality and value

    Was expecting problems when I purchased this - cleaned the hitch properly and it fitted and worked really well Not sure on corrosion resistance only time will tell. In this case buying original parts was well worth it.

    Newer trailers are 19mm, lock is 3/4"

    I specifically bought a Bradley lock for a Bradley coupling. It did not fit! I had to ream out the coupling to 3/4" diameter to get the lock to slide smoothly in and out if the hole. After a couple of days I noticed some rust discolouration on the lock barrel presumably from the bear metal left in the coupling after reaming. Long term I suspect the this will cause the lock to bind and give me further problems.
