Good cheap fix for a dead alternator.
Fixed my "non charging" alternator. Only cost about £18.00 instead of replacing the whole alternator for more than £100.00. Added benefit is that the regulator can be swapped without taking the alternator off the car. (Or at least it is possible on a VW Polo).

Made for the job.
A first class replacement regulator for my 2001 VW Caddy TDi. Once you have the alternator off the vehicle it's quite straight forward to replace, the alternator on my van was a Bosch 90A, type 038 903 023 L if that helps.

Alternator regulator
Alternator failed with worn down brushes and was only charging at 11.6volts, now it charges at 14.5 volts with this new part and it fitted a treat.
