      Realistic espionage from the 60's

      In the genre espionage as Bond 007 but more realistic- and the more interesting for that, rather like John Le Carré. Be aware that it is a 60 year old film and car crashes are not what provide dynamisme to it. Superb acting from everyone

      Nothing wrong with the Title...(a true spy story...one of the best).

      I read the Book in the Waterloo Station, London, England, in 1964, after missing my train on a Saturday night. I bought a first issue paperback from a vending machine. In the original true story, it was clearly a S&W, Mod. 42, 2" Snub Nose in 38 Spc., 5 Shot, counter clockwise rotation, revolver. Why was it changed to a Colt .32 Cal, in 3" barrel????? If anything to change this weapon to, it will be a S&W, Mod. 60, 3", Stainless, in .38 Scp. I still have the paperback book...all the edge of the pages have discolored a yellow, but still, a keeper!
