This speed loader "does" work. The machining is a little rough, and even slightly sloppy, but that's purely aesthetic and has nothing to do with it successful operation. It's really not faster than using your fingers until you get to about round 25, then the speed loader earns it keep, and does its job. With a little practice and taking your time you can get so it works easily and quickly. There "is" a learning curve, but with patience round 25 through 31, yes 31, you will finish off the remaining cartridges without any fuss. There are a couple you tube videos, just search PMR-30 Speed Loader, which can give you pointers you may find helpful. Additionally, it "does" take average dexterity. If you suffer from some kind of disability involving your fingers, old age, nerve damage or otherwise you may have some problem operating this speed loader. But, seriously, most people, if they will take their time and practice, will master the machine and be able to quickly "Top Off" their PMR-30 magazines. Remember, "practice makes perfect!" Good Luck :)Read full review

I have loaded four mags and the top moving, spring loaded part is worn out to where it doesn't push down on shell enough to barely catch the lip on mag. Any how you need a little R&D to harden the moving part. When you get it tuned up drop me a line and I will try it. But good try on making that for the kel tec 30. Thanks Carl Barzilauskas

I haven't used this item much yet so I can't say how well it will hold up. Seems pretty well made. It takes a bit to get used to the technique but if it saves my thumb from the turmoils of manually loading several mags to the full 30 round capacity it's great to have at the range.

Hardly seems worth $25.00. It is better than loading the magazine without it (especially the last 10), but it's awkward to use. Cartridge has to be placed just right for it to work, sometimes rolls or slides out of position. Then the manipulation of the loader is difficult to accomplish. There must possibly be a better, easier way to load these. NOTE: After using it more it has become easier to use, but still not like loading a (for instance) single stack 9MM.

I bought the original loader and like it very much, and have had little difficulty using it. This loader does require your thumb and a fair amount of practice to use, whereas the original loader just required your whole hand to push down the loader on the table firmly. I prefer the original loader over this one. If a little more engineering could improve the original that would be the way to go in my opinion.
