padded pouch smaller than I expected
I've had Tamrac bags before, they're generally well thought out and very well made. This has lots of good points but the only padded pocket is tiny. It said in the blurb it would take a small DSLR, I wanted it for a Sony bridge camera so I thought I'd be fine. No way I could get it into the pocket. It will take my Panasonic CSC camera with the small lens on, but, even that isn't quick to access once it's in, you have to manoeuvre it back out again. I ended up buying a neoprene cover for the bridge camera which goes in the main pouch and I use the small padded pocket for my Lee Filters. Bag is very comfortable to carry and very well made but it's not really a camera bag, IMHO.I've had Tamrac bags before, they're generally well thought out and very well made. Tamrac Hoodoo 18 Camera Backpack
Very happy with this backpack, very lightweight and comfortable to wear. The rather small camera compartment at the top of the bag is ideal for a Fuji X100, but it wouldn't be big enough for a FZ1000. Plenty of space for a lightweight jacket and bits and pieces, and build quality is great. I have other bags if I want to take more camera stuff, but this is great if you want to go light with minimal gear.Very happy with this backpack, very lightweight and comfortable to wear.
