    Not bad

    Would recommend for single or light use, which is very good considering the price. The split washers are pointless almost make them unusable, I removed them for easier use. They got the job done 👌

    Good with possible snags.

    This is basically a good pair of spring compressors and got the job done. However the spring washers were discarded as they were snagging and unnecessary. Plain washers would be better, if any. The hooks were too long and I had to grind off half an inch (1.27cm) to stop then fouling the damper. Good tool now!

    Does the job

    Seem good enough used to change springs on wife car done the job but next time I'm getting someone else to do it. Was always worried the clamps where going to slip, but they didn't thank goodness or I would have lost my head.

    Dangerous

    This type of spring compressor always needs using with caution. The hook end shape allows them to twist easily under load and to slip off the spring even when wired to prevent slippage. Under load they bent like bananas and the threads deformed. The spring washers ought to be replaced by machined items. Now consigned to the bin as unsafe to reuse.
