About this product

Product Information

As Her Majesty's Head of Chancery in India, Hugo Frenchman was the consummate British diplomat, his life a model of propriety, except for two areas of untidiness. One was his death: Diplomats do not tend to be found in a bloody heap, fatally stabbed with an antique dagger. Nor do they tend to amass priceless collections of Tibetan artifacts and bulging bank accounts. Had Frenchman been smuggling' Spying' Clearly he had been up to something, and George Sinclair is sent off to Delhi to find out what it was and--ideally--sweep it all under an ornate Indian rug.

This was exactly as pictured. Because of its age, the paper is very fragile, but was placed in a perfect sized clear plastic envelope and packed and shipped with great attention to detail. This was an A++++ transaction.

  • Felony and Mayhem in Dehli and a good mystery too!

This is the author's first book and she knows of what she writes. Takes place in the mid 1980s in Dehli and there was the murder of a diplomat on the Diplomatic compound heavily guarded by the Indian police. George Sinclair is sent to Dehli from London to figure out what happened. There were so many surprises along the way that kept my interest but at times I made myself keep reading. About halfway through, it sped up and then I couldn't wait to figure it out. Lots of action and personal injury to our hero and a little romance didn't hurt the story either and I loved the ending but I question why the villain didn't send henchmen instead of doing the tailing himself. Will read at least another one by Elizabeth Ironside.........I love the Felony and Mayhem TPB format very much!
