Doesn't get quite the range my Wildgame Lightsout cameras get but then again the lightsout cameras are much more expensive but it's a nice small camera, easy to set up and good pics. Would make a nice camera for your first one for sure. I have two now and quite pleased with the quality of the pictures.

I am not big on having the newest brightest toy in the neighborhood. With that said I do have some very expensive nice things when needed. When it comes to trail cameras I need several general use cameras more than a couple fancy ones. I will use 6-8 trail cameras this summer and Fall. I need them simple and reliable. I believe this unit fits that description. When I set up a camera and wait two weeks or so and have to walk miles to go see if it’s a decent hunting area I don’t want blurred fuzzy pictures of my hand and nothing else. We hunt Elk in NM and I drive and walk many miles to see what’s in the area and what time Elk are showing up. I trust this camera and most likely will buy 3-4 more this winter and spring to add to my collection. They won’t cover a large tank but for trails I have no complaints. They are ideal for general use cameras. Besides at this price I won’t cry if one comes up missing. I hope this helps.Read full review

I like the camera. It is simple, easy to set up and seems to take more than acceptable photos.

Very Happy with the WI cloak 6 game camera. 100's of clear pictures that were not noticed by the deer. Easy to use. Will be purchasing more.
