From the minute I plugged in this butterscotch swirl beauty, I was impressed by the fit, finish & overall feel. The Maple neck is stellar & superfast & the upper frets are a breeze to get to. Has a truss rod wheel located next to neck pu just like it's big brother (great feature!) pickup's are respectable & bridge is functional and stays in tune very well. I was in the market for a Peavey Wolfgang standard, but with prices around $1300-1500 for a decent example, I turned to this for 1/10th the price. I am going to upgrade the pu's and bridge with a German Floyd Rose & 2 Wolfgang EVH humbucker's, only because I have them & after several hours of playtime I have determined this is a definite no brainer! I have some $$$$ guitars ( Gibson Slash Custom, Jackson Custom shop,3 Charvel's) and I find myself smiling just as much when I plug this one in. Just pick one up, your fingers will thank you & so will your wallet!Read full review

I bought my mm1 through "Musicians Friend" approx. five years ago. Got the model with the Floyd Rose Trem. Initial setup was a pain. As all Floyd Rose setups are... I have an ungodly amount of hours with this guitar in my hands. Love it. Anyone that has average to small hands will love this guitar. Slim, fast neck, great feeling fret-board, never out of tune. Pick-ups are worthy. Still have originals installed. Play mainly through a fender g-dec digital processor practice amp, so pick-ups not an issue. Got a feeling these guitar are going to be a collectible down the road. Sad when something is made so well they get shut down. My advice..... BUY ONE. Before you can't find one.
This is one product I'm sad to see go! These guitars are no longer in production. However, you will see ebayers put them up for sale, some of the finest out of the box guitar made! Biggest bang for the buck. If you see them up on ebay pick one up you will love the feel, look and sound of this guitar. I often upgrade the pickups however, for the price its still a win win situation. You can pick one up for around 200 and below. I found one for 150.00 spent another 50. for a floyd double locking nut and trem bar, upgraded the pickups 100.00. I have one great guitar for 300.00 bucks these are modeled after the Ernie ball Musicman axis. They truly did one terrric job. I'm sad to see them go.
Just a sick guitar with a percet size, weight, low action and combination of pickups!
