A nice take on the vintage Gillette Rocket Aristocrat of the 1950's. Not as well made as the old Gillette but the razor gives a good shave. The head is standard Parker and gives a close shave a little more efficient than the Edwin Jagger DE89. The handle is 75mm long and weight is about 85gms. The razor is twist to open from the bottom. The knurling gives a good grip and the razor is well finished in shiny chrome. Overall excellent value for money. Given the price of vintage Aristocrats this is a good razor for anyone looking for the vintage look but without the hefty price tag.

The razor overall is OK, but give me an Edwin Jagger anytime. I think I would prefer a three piece razor to a butterfly opening razor, so I'm a bit biased. The razor is a bit more aggressive than I would have liked, and the build and chromeing is not the best, but still a good razor. Satisfied with purchase.

In dimensions and weight this is very similar to the well regarded Merkur 34 hd. Quality of build and finish is excellent. I like the balance and the short handle that makes the razor very manoeuvrable. Good grip and nice weight. Reminds me of Gillette aristocrat.
