I use these with my Fender Jag and Fender amp. As a 48 year old man, they are without doubt the MOST comfortable headphones I've ever worn. I can easily sit and play and mix with Garage Band and xbox as the hours drift happily by I can even forget they're on my head. The sound is clean and nuanced and cover my entire ear, which are on the large side. I was originally going for much more expensive ones but I'm extremely happy with these. Contented.

There has been so much written about these headphones and I must admit I read a great deal before deciding to take the plunge. Almost everything said about the sound quality proved to be true in that they deliver a flat response making them eminently suitable for music mixing and production, which is indeed exactly what I use them for. They are also perfectly fine for casual listening as long as you are not looking for a hi-fi delivery with accentuated highs & lows - this is not what they are made for, but as I say, they are perfectly fine for mixing and producing. However, I was not prepared for them being extremely uncomfortable (for me personally), and no reviews I had read had highlighted the fact that you need quite small ears to fit inside the earcups. If like me, you have fairly long ears, the cups sit on the ear rather than around and while it be be OK for some, I urger you to try them first if you can. They are OK for the first hour or so, and then my ears start to ache and become very hot. I attribute the latter sensation to the ear cup covering which is best described as "faux leather" as if they were indeed genuine leather, I doubt they would make the ears that hot. Don't get me wrong, this is a great headphone for it's intended purpose, but at £60+ I expected something a little more comfortable and that's why it gets just 3 stars. Maybe they will "wear in", I certainly hope so.Read full review

Bought as a present for a bass player who remarked that the quality was first class and provided an excellent low end response, also liked the longer lead.

Well designed over the ear phones. Very comfortable with a great sound across the frequency range. Well worth the money.

Bought these headphones for monitoring piano playing at home and for listening to all kinds of music ( from blues to opera and everything inbetween) on pc and laptop. I am absolutely delighted with them. They are very comfortable to wear if a little bulky but not too heavy to wear for extended periods. The clarity and definition is superb. I find it easy to differeniate between the various instruments played and also the definition in the vocals. The detail in acoustic guitar playing blew me away. So, on the plus side, all of the above. On the minus side, a little bulky. You wouldn't wear them on the train unless you wanted to look like a proffesional dj!!! Would I buy them again if I needed another set of headphones?: Yes, definitely.
